I agree with the sentiment of this post, but I'll play devils advocate.

Crafting "good enough stuff" (as in able to clear normal bosses) costed me about 8div for the most expensive piece. and 2div for the cheapest. Also, never been better to learn how to craft yourself either for gear or for profit.

The problem, for me, lies in the 50c-2div stage where you don't have enough to gamble on a lock prefix/suffix + veiled chaos orb. This stage is kinda dead to me. If you lock affixes and gamble, but only have 4-8div in the bank it's going to feel pretty damn bad if you miss.

Edit: And it takes a lot of knowledge to not waste tons of currency. what to block, what to choose as a back-up if you miss, etc

Edit2: I'd also argue that 50c-2div stage is probably the most important stage to make feel fun. Because that's where a LOT of people are going to be at in terms of budget.

POE doesn't even have a crafting system. It has a casino style slot machine pretending to be a crafting system.

Probably Bex demanding the meme get removed. Wouldn't be the first time it was pointed out she did that this league.

The mods are intentionally not cleaning it up, this is intended.

Fuck this place. They ruined a place I really used to enjoy visiting, I hope they got paid for it at least.

This is a direct consequence of the previous government’s plans to build interconnection into New South Wales

No, this is a direct consequence of there being no gas reservation policy in SA. Something which Labor had over a decade to sort out. Marshall didn't sort it out in a single term either (or try to sort it out)

They tried to but Lab and the Greens blocked their efforts.

We live in Woodville which is nearby. St Clair is great, close to the beach and city, nice quiet area as the streets are a rabbit warren so aren’t used as a through road to anywhere really. Depending on your circumstances, public schools aren’t the best.

Both the Woodville primary and high schools are amongst the worst in the entire state due to violence, harassment and thieving being excused away under the guise of "diversity" and "mental health management". Which is ironic because the area is a ethnic foothold for a large Vietnamese community and they are fantastic people whose kids have become the target of that abuse at the schools by african and aboriginal students. More than three quarters of the teaching staff at the high school have quit or been turned over in just the last two years. Good access to private alternatives around the surrounding suburbs though. Also, resteraunts and recreation facilities in the surrounding are are great, too.

I dunno why there's campaigning when there's no election in sight.

I am pretty ticked off at Labor though. Not simply for not being able to fix the system, because systems are complicated and expensive and hard to change. But for stating so confidently that they were going to fix it when such a promise needed to be better qualified.

They lie for the same reason they always do, because morons believe them and waste their vote on them. Over and over again.

It's literally called a merchant fee. That's a cost they're paying for the service they're being provided.

Yes, which all businesses in all industries pass on to the consumer by adding the cost to the final amount the consumer pays for the item/service.

Like these changes, game is generally just overall better with scarabs more available. And I'm really looking forward to not needing to run both wrath of the cosmos and eldritch gaze or feel like I'm missing out on potential currency, will definitely save on a lot of deaths and atlas tree points. Maven influence buffs are nice, never felt close to worth to choose running maven maps over eldritch maps. The better currency rewards the altars drop sounds good too.

The only big thing that seems to be missing is a nerf to the eater of worlds mobs. The blue mobs that spawn and instantly blast you with insane damage, eater of worlds mobs seem to be several times more dangerous than the exarch mobs imo.

The changes are going to make them less available, not more.

Did you people not really learn your lesson from all the previous leagues? Until gameplay proves otherwise, this is what happens:

  • Scarab drop rate gutted, rusted scarabs rarer than before.

  • The amount of eldritch packs weighted towards the low end. You'll rarely see the full 60 packs map.

  • And due to the point above, even with the 50% increased chance for altars to appear, you will see less of them.

  • Altar rewards were also gutted, and downsides amplified. Have fun getting 3 alchemy orbs from map boss for it getting 33% more all speed or something.

  • Chance for Maven witnessed map boss to actually drop an awakened gem is in the realms of it dropping a Mageblood.

I would love to be wrong, but this is GGG we're talking about - very good at wording so that nerfs sound as improvements. And people forget so quickly...

This is true, however most people still think they look trashy and emplyers consider them unprofessional and unsightly on staff. So you will absolutely reduce your employment prospects for the rest of your life by doing it.
