Damages means how much money did the HOA lose by that information being public. Breach of fiduciary duty doesn't have statutory damages. It's like if I sue for trespass because you stepped on my grass. My damages are $0, i.e. there's no point in suing.

I had to reread my original post. I did ask for broad documents before I read our statutes. They responded with a graph of violations broken down by type. So, my follow up will be more specific. In any case, I’ll attend the next board meeting.
