Police arrived and saw someone covered in blood after a shooting. It's reasonable for them to detain him until they figure out what happened. This is the wrong thing to be outraged about.

When cops have a history of beating, and raping trans people in their custody, when their ranks are rotten with white supremacists, and they routinely fail to prevent these shootings, it's perfectly reasonable to be suspicious of them. All cops are bastards until they prove that as an institution, they've changed

And they should 100% be called out on all of those things. Whenever there's a bad actor they need to be publicly lambasted for it and held accountable.

That they detained someone who was covered in blood for an hour after a shooting is the wrong thing to be angry about though.

This is pretty cool. I love how the data is displayed and how easily it's accessable. I have zero use for this tool, but you did an awesome job with it!

How long did it take you to build it?

Gary Oldman retiring after being described as “Harry Potter actor”

Seriously. He's of the most well known actors in the world, he's been in 70+ movies, including dozens of box office hits.

The Dark Knight series, Leon the Professional, Planet of the Apes, Air Force One, The Fifth Element, Dracula, and the Harry Potter movies just off the top of my head. The guy is a legend

The issue is that people can spend unlimited amounts of money to influence elections. Citizens United needs to be overturned.

If 10 people have 120 IQ, and 100 people have 90 IQ, the average IQ is 92ish. That puts 100 of the 110 people on the ranking list below average.

And it still has nothing to do with the median

I'll probably ask her if there's anything I can do to help because that's a truly terrifying situation to be in.

Please don't tell lies.

Would you stop someone stealing food if they looked hungry? How about stealing a tent if they were homeless?

And which capitalist have you stopped from stealing?

He wants people to quit. He wants to scare off potential new employees. He wants Twitter to fail. That's the only way ANY of his actions make sense.

What's the motive?

9 points · 12 days ago

Could be any number of things. He probably resents Twitter for being mean to him in the past. He'll be a far-right cult hero for dismantling it.

Don't forget that SA is the second highest stakeholder in Twitter and they may have reason to want it to fail as well.

Those reasons don't make sense. He could have destroyed Twitter with bots, DDOS attacks, viruses, etc... for a tiny fraction of what he spent to purchase it.

The far more plausible reason is simply that he didn't want to buy it and was using the purchase as a reason to sell his Tesla stock. When he was forced to buy it, he started managing on the fly. He has a god complex, he's recklessly impulsive, and he's failing because he didn't think through his decisions because previous success has made him feel infallible.
