If these are made out of swimsuit material then no they are not hard to swim in. They don’t billow due to the type of fabric. I have a couple of pieces from Modli and really enjoy them. I have all separates and not a dress.

I don’t get the instagram caption. Happy customer once again? So she didn’t like some store and now she does because she got what she wanted? They gave her a discount? Free stuff? And it’s some consignment shop, but the toys look like they’re in boxes?

I believe this consignment shop helps support women and children of domestic violence…def not 100 percent certain on that. But we have one here (I live in a town in Arkansas) and several stores will donate unsold new items for that shop. I know a few years ago the local wal mart made a huge donation and with them being so close to headquarters, I could see donations such as this being a way to give back to the local community.

They should donate directly to the families, like a program local to me has set up with various stores. I'm a survivor of DV and there's a really wonderful program in town that helps families well below the poverty line. And nothing they give us is used. They don't accept used items. They don't want families to feel like we don't deserve new stuff just because we are poor.

Yes….I agree it should go directly to those in need. We were extremely poor growing up. My mom raised us on less than 20k a year. But it was better being a single parent than being in the abusive marriage. Of course he didn’t pay child support…

Honestly I know 4 (2 women) Drs probably 30 R.N.’s, 2 (both women) lawyers, multiple real estate agents, speech therapist, occupational therapists and various others medical jobs that require degrees. Our church always encouraged education.

I’m so surprised by this.

I was honestly so shocked when I left and encountered other former Pentecostals and their sheet the lack of education. So many have struggled and some even believe it’s “God’s will” for them to be poor and struggle each day. When I was probably in Jr. High our Pastor really started pushing college. He believed that Gods people should be the best and excel at whatever they put their mind to. Furthering your education was a given. I started college courses in high school and several who graduated after me had completed their Associate’s Degree upon their high school graduation. Many things I could disagree about with my former church, but the push for education (men and women alike) I can not fault them for. Politics, truly ministering and loving the needy, standards etc…are all topics I do find fault with them for.

I don’t believe BJU has an actual k4 curriculum but I know Abeka does. These videos are short and there is lots of movement, singing and puppet play that goes along with it. K4 will also not have a paper for every subject.

She might be using something completely different but Abeka and BJU are the most common curriculum used by homeschooling and private school evangelicals.

In Arkansas, if you are homeschooled the only way you can "graduate" is to get a GED.

Homeschooled in Arkansas…parents can and do issue diplomas. It’s up to the college to accept the diploma. Most do as I did and simply take the entrance exam to the local community college. I also took the ACT my junior and senior year of high school. Arkansas now has funds allotted for juniors and seniors to take the ACT for free.

See, I thought that you didn't have to have a GED to graduate after being homeschooled in Arkansas, but when I Googled it, it said you did. Maybe it's a recent thing? Or Google is just wrong lol.

I think it’s just wrong. I had to look up a homeschooling rule a few years ago and google gave quite a bit of wrong info. Def best to just check the Arkansas Department of Education.

The current president as we know from plenty of court filings is Trump. He won‘t be eligible for a third term in 2024.
