Posts about Art Bell
The first I read about was one of the sadder ones. Brendan Cook, a member of the Ghost Investigators Society, was jailed for serial burglary at a university.
I recently listened to an old show with guest Melvin Morse (3/23/2000), a pediatrician interested in near death experiences in children. I searched him and found that he lost his medical license and was convicted for abusing his adopted daughter.
Self-proclaimed psychic Sean David Morton was convicted of civil securities fraud, basically using his psychic claims to scam people out of money.
ETA: as r/Hugh_Jankies notes below, there is debate about whether this is the same Brandon Cook.
On September 11th, 1997, a mysterious caller phoned into the Coast to Coast radio show with Art Bell. The caller, known as the "frantic man" claimed to be an ex-area 51 employee on the run from the government. His chilling statements about aliens made the phone call famous in the 1990s.
edit: okay, we get it. it’s fake. you don’t need to keep commenting it over and over
Does anyone know of a resource that delves into The very early history of the Mandela effect? The Fiona Broome aspect is somewhat well documented, but before the phenomenon gained its name, it had already been observed. Art Bell comes to mind, although I don’t have the specifics..
.. but I believe he discussed the phenomenon on at least one broadcast. Of the MEs that are now canonical, What was the first one that was observed and recognized? Would be very fascinating to see the first posts/videos/broadcasts discussing this. And to be able to track it through its infancy as more what would come to be called MEs were observed.
