Posts about Aritzia
To all of my OG Aritzia shoppers … do you remember when they used to lock up your bags in the change room and give you a key to the drawer before trying on clothes?
Also… I feel like Aritzia has become more mainstream these days. I’ve legit been shopping at Aritzia for 12-15 years lmao all the way from my elementary school days. Anyone else feel me?
What is the one item you will never get rid of (or wish you had) because it just sparks joy every time? For me, it’s a Wilfred long sleeve I got when I first discovered Aritzia. I’ve long forgotten the name, but it has a cute little cut out with a bow on top—someone’s selling it on Poshmark here. It feels so soft and nice against my skin, flatters me, and makes me feel confident every time I wear it. :) I’m just curious to see what that item is for you guys.
I’m so curious about those of you who have been shopping here since the beginning / in the early 2000s. What were the “it” items and what was the culture around aritzia like? How does it compare to today?
I’ve come to the realization that Aritzia matching sweat sets and legging sets aren’t even that expensive compared to other brands. The prices are great for the quality/style and what you’re getting imo.
To bring some context to my opinion … there’s a Toronto-based company called 437 and they are trying to sell a crop sweater for over $150 and their legging sets are so much more pricier than aritzia. In my opinion, the only other retailer that can scale their prices higher than aritzia’s for activewear is Lululemon. This is because they are known for their functional and high quality clothing.
Other than that it’s a NO from me and you won’t catch me ever buying any overpriced activewear or sweat sets from businesses like 437 — especially with their no return policy (the owner mocked a customer saying that their no return policy will pay for her drinks in Mexico lol). At least at aritzia and lululemon you’re guaranteed quality, they will accommodate you if there’s ever something wrong with a product, and lulu offers free hemming!!
Aritzia & Lululemon > Everything.
