Suggest Me A Book
My ideal world I’m alone and okay with it. I don’t have a lot of friends. I feel like if you can be okay alone you can handle life a lot better. I need to know the way of loving myself and living a fulfilling life alone.
I’d say I’m doing a good job of it with my journaling but I want more input and techniques.
I had an idea but don't know how practical it would be. I made a subreddit with the idea of members trading books. The idea is that you are getting a book for "free" in exchange for sending that same person one of your books. You each only pay for postage. (Which in the USA can be sent for as little as $3 through media mail.)
You can use flairs to indicate if you are willing to trade internationally or only domestically, if you are looking for a specific book or want to be surprised with a book of a certain genre or by a certain author, etc.
How well do you think it would work, and would anyone be interested in joining and trying it out? Please give me your honest opinions.
The subreddit is already made, I was unsure if I could link it here.
Hi! So, I've seen so many ads and books about werewolf mating stories that i got curious. And disappointed. Most of them are pure garbage.
I've read a decent amount of books about mating bonds (looking at you, Sarah J Maas), but most of those have been centered on fae, and I'm looking to switch it up a little.
Does anyone have any GOOD book recommendations of this? Pretty please?
Question in title! My 6 yo nephew LOVES dog man (and corresponding captain underpants) and I want to help him find more series to love! He’s a v new reader so lots of pictures still useful and his reading vocabulary isn’t quite there yet for Calvin and Hobbes (but ooo I can’t wait to introduce him to that!)
Feel free to also suggest great read aloud’s that aren’t “scary” as my sister (his mom) is Uber paranoid about scaring him (so no Harry Potter…. Yet!) and that my 3 yo nephew may also enjoy listening to. I’m thinking cam Jansen or encyclopedia brown but I’m sure there’s great other stuff that wasn’t written 20 + years ago! 😂😂😂 I’ll only be there a week and estimate I will read about 30 min a night and want to be able to finish the book while I’m there. Thanks!
