Both GoT and HotD do such a great job telling stories through costumes. Characters wear different clothes almost every scene, and they always tell some kind of story. In GoT, they even put so much thought behind all the elaborate hairstyles! Not to mention that the costumes are gorgeous, and are perfect fantasy couture, which is actually something I expected from the Witcher, especially for the sorceresses. Instead, we get boring medieval design, or ugly, ill-fitted dresses that don't do the actresses any favors. The only costume I liked in two whole seasons (!!!) was Philipa's dress which we saw for like 3 seconds.
If the outfits at Thanned ball are bad, it will honestly be enough for me to give up on this show.
Regardless of what you think of the quality of the series, it was pretty successful. Most show subreddits stay pretty alive between the seasons. But this sub is empty - just news, barely any discussion or fan art, nothing. So weird...
I'm not able to watch the online event where Henry Cavill will be interviewed by Josh Horowitz. I assume it's mostly going to be about Enola Holmes, Argylle and possibly a Superman return, but I'm hoping for some Witcher related content as well. Does anyone know if 92NYC usually shares live streamings after the event for free - or if the event is available to stream afterward as long as you got a ticket for the online event? It's my understanding that a lot of 92NYC events show up on youtube but I'm not sure if that goes for all the events.
