Yen is easily one of the best in the business when it comes to fight scenes. I'm hyped to see what he and Keanu do in a fight together.

I'd love another version of the Seraph fight in Matrix 3 2. Nobody ever lands a blow, just two speed demons countering each other until someone calls it good.

He is the last of a dying breed of action stars.

Donnie is easily up there with Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Jet Li. His work in the Ip Man movies, while having questionable narratives about the West, has top notch fight choreography.

While I felt that John Wick didn't need sequels, and subsequently didn't enjoy 2 and 3 nearly as much as 1 and feel like 4 will prolly leave me feeling the same, I'll absolutely see this one in theaters just to see Reeves and Yen fight. Donnie Yen is an absolute fucking master and I love watching his choreography.

I’m not sure how Keanu is going to hold up against Yen. In Wick 2 or 3 he fights that little dude from The Raid and he looks clumsy as hell next to that little ninja.

I am one with The Force. The Force is with me.

He was such an amazing Jedi.

Hard to believe he’s almost 60.

In Donnie Yens Culture, he is the action choreographer and in Asian culture the action choreographer gets FULL REIGN of Directing/cinematography of their action sequence Regardless of whoever's directing. The reason I know this is because of THE MATRIX, the wachowski siblings wanted a specific choreographer but he knew how Hollywood works and declined at first. But they allowed him to do everything he wanted to get him to choreograph those fight scenes. It's the same for Donnie Yen. Donnie Yen takes a character and creates their own unique fighting technique, I think he is the Best of the Best.

For all the people complaining I’m pretty sure it was literally said they will only keep making them as long as people are interested. And I, as a person am interested.

I don’t know what other upcoming action movies you are excited for but I guarantee you in terms of fighting choreography this will be better.

Seriously, it’s been established the series is based around a love for choreography at its heart and every entry puts it on display far better than any action movies I’ve seen recently. If Fast and the Furious gets to putter along then so does John Wick, because it’s superior in every way.

That's how... eveything works. No one is investing in a product that has no (perceived/potential) demand.

David Leitch fight choreos are absolutely brilliant too.

Seriously, they could make another fifty films for all I care. As long as they're as good, I'm down. I've never been an action movie person, but I love the first movie. The second came out and I thought they probably can't do it again. But it was awesome too, and the third was awesome as well.

So keep em coming.
