I'm good with the way they did it but Tom better hope they don't try to stay true to Norse mythology or he's fucking a horse.

Actually his horse son, Sleipnir, can be seen at the beginning of Thor 2. Odin rides him

No clue if he's actually Loki's child in the MCU

I was more thinking, “I’m down for bi Loki but Im really hoping Hiddleston isn’t planning on leading an invading alien armada into my city…”

Bi guy here. I thought Loki was a well done show because his sexuality didn’t detract from telling a great story. Instead, it was a minor footnote that was still noticeable, but also believable because in real life I’m not talking about my sexuality 24/7. I also liked how they portrayed America Chavez and her moms in MoM for similar reasons. Representation done right!

That’s how it should be done.

A character shouldn’t revolve around their sexual orientation which is what a lot of producers fuck up on for the sake of inclusion.

It was a neat organic detail about the character.

eh i thought it was a bit too subtle. plenty of people didn’t realise what that one tiny line meant.

edit: for example this guy further down the thread missed it

Yep, like Q in the new Bond film. Or Phastos in Eternals.

Agreed, they have done well with keeping the relationships subtle it makes them small moments nicer to see. These films are not romcoms and i don’t think we need in your face relationships for any of the characters imo.

Norse mythology. Loki was a shape shifter. Had long reddish hair. Green eyes. Will see on loki 2

Bi dude here, I do appreciate that they made the step to officially confirming the character as bi, it’s a step towards more LGBT representation in the franchise.

At the same time, I do hope this opens the door for more explicit examples of queer MCU characters in the future

What are your thoughts on the Grandmaster? It hasn't been explicitly stated, but I figured his sexual orientation was very "fluid".

Why people are upset by bisexual Loki? I'm pretty sure in comics Loki at some point even f**ed a horse. So it's funny to me that someone is upset that he can f**k a man but nobody talks about him championing zoofilia.

It didn't happen only in the comics...Loki in Norse mythology got fucked by a horse in an attempt to distract him (the horse) from helping a giant to destroy Asgard and kidnap Freya...

What did I miss? The article said that the Loki show "finally made it clear" he was bi. I don't remember that happening at all in the show.

He mentions getting on with “princes” in a very short dialogue.
