Contact the embassy of the country you are a citizen of and get a replacement passport. You probably can’t go to Thailand or other counties besides the one you are a citizen of with a pending drug charge

Also contact a criminal defense attorney in VA

I am a lawyer, I am not your lawyer. I worked in immigration law for several years.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT APPLYING FOR A VISA AND SPEAKING WITH AN IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY IN THE UNITED STATES.

I am dead serious on this. It is not just drug trafficking. ANY controlled substance charge will leave you subject to immediate detention at any point of entry within the United States. Additionally, you would be shown to be a flight risk as you left with an outstanding warrant. You would not be granted parole by even the most lenient immigration judge. Your only option would be to attempt to apply for asylum (which depending on the severity of your charge may not be available) or withholding of removal (which has an even higher standard than asylum). While domestic violence can be grounds for both of those claims since Matter of A-B- was mostly abrogated, it is still a tough claim to win. Furthermore, your case would be heard by one of the judges in a detention facility who are notoriously stingy with any type of removal relief.

I repeat, do not try and enter the United States without consulting with an immigration attorney here in this country.
