I'm In just a few years, lightening Lightning chargers are going to be a relic from a very particular era

Like what the original iPhone dock connectors are now

Won't the Lightning connector have been around for longer than the 30-pin one was by that point?

I mean I’m currently using an 8. Unless Apple is feeling charitable, you’ll probably see lightning for awhile

You say this like we haven't seen it happen 4 times in the last 20 years

Don’t worry, I'm sure the Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse will still somehow inexplicably use Lightning despite being Mac-first products.

I don't think I trust the prediction of someone just a few years old, no disrespect tho.

I'm not a apple person, but I always preferred the lightning connector over USB. It's too bad it go the other around where every electronic would use lightning ports.

It's one of the big reasons I haven't made the jump to an iPhone. All of my stuff is USB c now.

You corrected “I’m” but left “lightening”?

You mean the "broken pieces of crap" era.

Good riddance, Lightning.

In just a few years I predict any kind of wired charging will be a relic. I already charge my iPhone and AirPods wirelessly both at work and home
