Hello! My name is ItsMinticle and I'm the lead developer for a minecraft mod called RPGish. It's really early in development, and we're going into the 3rd update pretty soon called the Food and Eco update. The goal of RPGish is to expand on minecraft in lots of ways while adding RPG elements and a story to the game, and in the current update we're focusing on expanding the ecosystem, with different types of soil, new biomes, new animals, plants, foods and loads more. Some images are linked showing what the mod has to offer and a demonstration of the hunger mechanic added to the carnivorous animals the mod adds, which has them be aggressive towards other animals when hungry. Different animals will have different interactions with one another, so if you're interested you can join the discord to see what else has been added and get access to public betas of the new update, or check the Curseforge for a full release of the previous updates. One of the new armors and new weaponsSome Greater Phantoms flying aroundThe GargantunaA flock of Wooly Deer with their babiesA demonstration of the hunger mechanic. The Megatoo goes from neutral to aggressive when hungry and back to neutral after eating the cow
So while I was getting ready to continue my progress in create: above and beyond i ran into a problem. The world that i have been playing on for weeks decided to completely stop working leaving me floating in the void (as shown below). unable to move, interact or even exit the game, as I would get stuck on the saving screen aswell.(latest save file)
deciding that my save must be corrupted I rolled back to a backup. but instead i ran to a different problem which after running into certain chunks my game would soft-lock itself. and to add insult to injury just like the newer save this renders save and exit completely useless as it would also get stuck on saving screen.2nd save file
so now my only options are to rollback further and possibly re-encounter the same problems. create a new world same seed and somehow copy the buildings over through editing. or start fresh
I've allocated 8gb of ram aswell as running a 2070 + i7 9th gen so a specs issue shouldn't be the problem
my possible theories as to why this happens is maybe because i pulled the save file off from an apex hosted server. or that curse forge launcher very isn't reliable idk.
any suggestion ?
