Build Me A PC
I used my dads desktop from 2008 the other day and was shocked that he is still using it haha it took 20 minutes to boot up, he doesn’t play any video games or do any video editing or anything fancy just browses news cites and plays worldle and stuff on there. I just wanted to show him how cheap he would be able to upgrade from what he has now for under 500 but less would be better.
I want to use my PC in the living room for gaming/streaming, and I also want to use it in my office. To avoid plugging and unplugging repeatedly, can I access the PC wirelessly?
I'm wanting to either place in the living room and access it wirelessly from my office with to monitors, keyboard, mouse, and two speakers OR place the device in my office and wirelessly access it with my TV and sound system from the living room.
With one wall in between, my TV and office desk are around 12' apart.
What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using. I’ll only be using this PC for gaming. I got a used powercolor red dragon 6800xt for a great price. I mainly play Tarkov, CoD and a few AAA games.
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes? ~$1500
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy. Within the next 2 weeks
**What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? I have a tower (Corsair 5000x) and the gpu already in my possession. Peripherals not required.
Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location? United States, OH. Have a micro center within driving distance that I will be going to.
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated. Not reusing any parts.
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU? Not at this time
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc) The motherboard needs to have WiFi capabilities
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components? Black Corsair 5000x already purchased.
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference? N/A
Hi, as the title says I'm going to build a PC for the first time and I want to use it for primarily gaming but also some CAD work if I have to work from home. I've got a friend who can help me with assembly but I need to sort out parts myself.
Budget is flexible but somewhere in the range of $2000-$3000 AUD would be preferred. I'm in Australia if that matters as well and will be using windows 10 or 11. I would also prefer a large amount of hard drive storage, I currently have a 512GB SSD and it's just not enough for me. Suggestions for a second monitor would be good as well, I currently have one very good monitor and the other is my laptop screen.
The CAD software I use is Soldiworks and Creo Elements/Direct, and I would like to be able to play any modern higher spec game like Cyberpunk 2077 on decent graphics levels.
My budget is 800€, I currently have an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Im looking for a GPU, CPU and a case, I don't know if I would need better cooling or change my motherboard so any help os appreciated as I don't know much about building PC'S.
I just want to upgrade for playing videogames, I can play Cyberpunk and RDR2 on medium but I would like to play them on ultra if possible.
Im from Spain. Thanks
Looking for a build for After Effects, Premier, and 3D programs in the future like Cinema4D. I have a few different build variations but want to compare and see where I could improve on my choices. Especially in the MoBo and GPU department.
My budget is ~$2200 on the highest end.
(Note: I already bought a black Corsair 5000X case and 32 gb Corsair vengence SL CL18 (4 x 8gb) Ram.)
