Should I Buy This Game?

I'm contemplating on getting either one of them. I want to get Read Dead 2 'cus I've been hearing loads of good things about it and how it's one of the best games of all time etc. But I'm kinda bored with the Rockstar "do exactly what you're told" kinda gameplay and really want some freedom in my missions. This is where Death Stranding come in, I don't know much about DS but I expect (almost) the same level of freedom in missions as MGSV since they're made by Kojima, and I don't really know if I'm going to enjoy it or not since all I heard was 50/50, some saying how its a walking sim and some saying how its a genre defying game.

Please help me make my decision

Have you ever wanted to buy a game on Steam but didn't know if it was good? Have you ever had just enough money for an indie game but didn't know whether it was worth buying? Have you ever asked yourself, "Should I buy this game?"
