I’m supposed to have my CPC on Monday. Got a phone call yesterday saying I’ve been put down as temporarily medically unfit . A few days before I’m supposed to go. Capita not helping sort it all out so my recruiter said he’d get back to me today letting me know if I could go to the CPC or if he’d have to cancel me going. Not heard anything in regards to a cancellation or an updated medical status, as it’s a Saturday🤦🏼♀️ So unsure on wether I should still go? Or not as I’m “medically unfit”. I don’t think I should, but thought I’d ask and get other’s opinions on it. Thanks in advance :)
Got my PJFT in 3 days and prep is going good with my best recorded time 9:54. However, i was talking with a friend who has done there's and he said there was no point going for a best time as it's literally just a box ticking yes/no test.
Is this sound advice or bullsh*t? I was told by my recruiter a better time is more appealing but idk if he was just saying that cause I hate running Iol.
Hi, I am pretty new. Do you guys really just polish the tip of your No 3 shoes? I am aware its because the shoe bends and the polish will crack along with those bend marks but the contrast looks really weird to me so I am really tempted to put a few layers on the whole shoe if not making the whole shoe shiny. Do you guys put a few layers on other parts of your shoes at all? Will I get into trouble if I polish my whole shoes?
Hi, I just took my DAA for officer and was unfortunately unsuccessful. I have opted to take the test again however I’m not sure whether you’re meant to receive a specific score of the test. I’ve seen people say that they got 61 or something but not sure if this is information we’re meant to get back. Thanks
I’m near to the end of my engineering undergrad and I’ve been looking to join as a WEO. It says on the website on the WEO role page: “You’ll need at least 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C (9-4) (or Scottish equivalent), which must include English and Mathematics” It doesn’t state what grade you need, only that it should be C or above. However, I’ve done a little more research onto the eligibility side of the page and it says you have to have a B/6 in Maths and English. I have a B/6 in English but only a C/4 in maths. It’s all a bit confusing, in the sense that it’s telling me one thing and then it’s telling me another.
Can anyone help? Because I had a look at it a couple of months ago and you did need B/6 to get in but looking at it now, it says nothing about needing that grade. Has it been updated? And they’ve just not changed it?
