Given the recent news, give the floating points, pharaoh sanders, lso collaboration a shot. It has its feet in lots of genres. I also find that playlists are a great way to hear new things. You like jazz? Find a new jazz playlist. With streaming you can even pick random new releases and just spend 10 minutes with them. See what catches your ear. Look into Internet radio. It's a great time to explore varied music.

Seems my friend like you enjoy a lot of jazz. I too enjoy jazz but I like the more experimental stuff. Nu-jazz and jazztronica are hard to get in to if you're not already well versed in electronic music but give The New Breed by Jeff Parker a shot and see how you like it.

I definitely second jazz-adjacent stuff. My picks would be Dirty Loops, Vulfpeck, Cory Wong’s solo work and Sungazer

If you like rock, funk, or soul, I’d suggest The Main Squeeze and astro samurai
