As much as I agree, a CEO of a crypto exchange is gonna say exactly that regardless.

Secondly I agree crypto will come back but what did they expect him to say? My job is fake so is crypto? This news is 🔥. NOT

Ya, not exactly an unbiased source.

I am hoping that the perks CDC used to offer will come back as well.

That’s what I’m hoping for, I think how they went about removing perk after perk to the point that the card is now pretty much stripped of its unique selling points was bad but ultimately I understand it was a business decision as they want the business to survive. I can only hope that when the market recovers they start to re-introduce the perks again.

nope, they will never come back. they did it just to lure in customers. now that they have them, there's no incentive to spend those amounts.

the only very unlikely possibility is that ALL the rest of the market increases their perks and CDC starts to see a mass exodus, then they would add some back to stay competitive

Feels like a long shot

I'm skeptical, but I kinda think it behooves them to do so at some point. Not only to gain new customers but to also pull back lost ones. At least the card perks, though a return of some of those earn rates would be nice too (even less optimistic there).

Plenty of folks point to the chain itself as a sign for hope, but not only is there not much there to go on at the moment (mostly just a load of DeFi gambling) bu that's not going to bring in the newbies like card perks can. No one cares about ultra high risk LP rates, they hear free Netflix and Spotify and Prime and higher cash back rates and they come sniffing around your coin. Attracting people to buy and indefinitely hold CRO was where a significant part of its value came from; there were plenty of reason to hoard and few to sell.

If nothing else, I hope that perks return so that an entity like CDC that still controls a large portion of CRO can benefit from the rise in prices that would come with a return of perks. More people start hoarding the coin again, the better their coffers look, the higher the price goes and the fewer raw CRO have to go out the door week to week to pay for those rewards. Of course it'll raise the value of my bags and others too, but I miss the sheer optimism I had for the coin this time last year; was my most comfortable holding by far and I dont think that can remain without some sort of mainstream incentive to differentiate itself.

I hope they make a push for the rewards to come back at the end of the year with the World Cup stuff.

Although it sucks they ruined the point of having a card for the moment I don’t think it’s forever.

When exchange for non institutional investors for US?

Probably not until the SEC either chills or is clear about what is what...

Crypto will come back; however, with the current perks, the same can not be said for new Crypto.com users.

CDC is the best platform out there the fees are high but you pay for safety and quality. Tries loads of other apps The only other one I like is Nexo. Binance you have to have to be a rocket scientist to buy on that one. Same as Kucoin
