No Litecoin is NOT at risk of being delisted by major exchanges

There have been a few posts here today highlighting the fact Litecoin is being delisted by 5 South Korean exchanges over it's privacy feature. Both times those posts have tried to infer Litecoin is at risk of broader delisting. I find this a little misleading and wanted to make a more balanced post that gives you a few more facts.

Firstly people need to understand exchanges in South Korea are under tremendous pressure due to the Luna fiasco. Infact they were forced by regulators to set up a delisting authority. Litecoin is the first victim, but to suggest other coins are somehow immune from scrutiny is very misleading. South Korean exchanges have already delisted Zcash and Monero. Due to the enormous pressure they are under more could be on the chopping block and not necessarily so called privacy coins.

Secondly and most importantly, developers were very aware that Litecoins privacy feature may make it fall foul of regulations. That's why they specifically designed it's privacy feature, so that exchanges could "opt out". This is a critical point people don't understand and that's why it is NOT at risk of being delisted on major exchanges. The coins founder went to excrutating lengths to work with major exchanges to make litecoin compliant.

We all value privacy and I believe litecoins approach is balanced.

There has been a fair amount of FUD going around about it, wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people think it's going to be delisted

I am holding litecoin since 2018 and never got bored anytime or regret after holding this !

This is how the power of privacy works, no matter which exchanges have delisted it

Still holding on since 2017, feels like this is kinda good news, the privacy works!

Privacy works and hence it has been proved :) Though there's a privacy coin still in the lead that we call it as Monero.

But LTC is nowhere less than Monero, its good in privacy too !

I don't know about you but Litecoin is of the OG coins that survived this bear market, this is nothing.

From this bear market, we could easily predict that LTC is going nowhere !

10 years with 100% uptime, continued development, optional privacy. There aren’t many coins that can come close to matching that in this market. LTC will survive just as a p2p decentralized network does. Certainly not flashy but damn if the coin does what it does.

LTC Just exists as solid part of the crypto world since forever and will most likely not fade away just like that

Here for the money

Shitcoins get listed daily in exchanges, if LTC gets delisted, this is as fucked as monero not getting listed back in top exchanges.

Yup yuuup I’m not even a particularly huge fan of it or anything but that’s why it’s been one of my favorite buys of the bear market so far.

The question of “will this thing even be around in a couple years” is basically a given at that point, so then the only question is whether or not it will be relevant enough to pump significantly, and what with upgrades still coming along and the fact that a lot of actual dead projects still pump pretty well during bull markets, I’m not even a little concerned about LTC. It’s one of the least risky buys after BTC and ETH, especially so far away from ATH.

Exactly

I'm used to compare LTC to a tuned cars. Litcoin is a sleeper with big V8 underneath

LTC would never fade away and that's for sure, I am sure LTC is the only coin which is widely spreaded.

And thus people love to hold LTC, and also its all about privacy
