I would’ve appreciated this about a month or two ago. Caught COVID about two weeks ago after going the entire pandemic without getting it.

Same here. On day 5 of Paxlovid. It was very mild but just pleased to get it. (Edit)

I have it now for this first time :( I’m 22 weeks pregnant and it hit me HARD. I’ve never been as sick in my life as I was the first two days of this.

Same.

Tested positive on the 8th, finished the paxlovid prescription, still testing positive today on the 22nd. Fully vaxxed and boosted as well as making and social distancing when possible. Then as soon as I have to share a living space for work, bam, caught it. Thankfully the worst of it was mild to slightly moderate and just within the first week.

Ditto.

But it's EVERYWHERE.

I tried hard to avoid it, but unless you plan to live like a hermit, or spend every social interaction masked up, it's going to find you eventually.

Maybe I would have been able to avoid it if I'd had a fourth shot, but that wasn't by choice - the government wouldn't let me yet (Australia).

Currently stuck in a hotel waiting to be able to travel home. Tested positive the day I was supposed to travel home.

I had the two Johnson and Johnson, first the day it was offered, second the day the booster was offered. Then in December got Covid, but did not know I had it. I showed up on the blood lab when I donated blood. I have rare blood.

Then last week I got nailed hard by Covid. tested positive, fever, bad flu symptoms. six days later all good. I am going to pass on any booster till more options come out, and I am looking at the Novaxivid.

Question though, how long am I immune, or am I still open to get the newest variants? Any science on that?

It might not have mattered - it may have just lessened your bout.

Remember, vaccines aren't "You'll never get it". They're "You MIGHT not get it and if you do, it probably won't be that bad."

That said, studies show that you likely have a stronger immune response (if you were already vaccinated) so silver lining?

Yup. Same. I have so much anger. My poor son was weeks away from being able to get vaxxed and caught it, then gave it to me. It was horrific.

Me tooooo. I caught covid mid may.

Literally same.

To be fair, part of it was my own stupidity going to the beach with crowds, but fuck, I should have gotten a fourth shot.

I couldn’t agree more. I currently have Covid. Right as I’m trying to move across the country and switching jobs. It’s fun trying to pack while also quarantining from your SO.
