This happened yesterday at Terminal 21. A tall Indian/Sikh man named “Kishan”approached me as I was grocery shopping. He has tattoos on his right arm/wrist area. He starts with “you have a lucky face but you don’t know how to use this luck”. He got my interest. And cause it was pouring rain, I knew I’d be stuck indoors - I got suckered in. He was able to guess some pretty deep personal history about me and used that as his basis, so he’s a good con artist! Pulled the crumbled paper trick too. He asks for money to help me pray everyday at the temple for the next xx days to get rid of my sins. He gives three options - $300 USD, $500 USD, $700 USD. LOL. At first I thought he meant baht and I was thinking, I guess he entertained me for an hour and 300 baht was whatever. And then he proceeds to ask for 500 baht/day for 39 days for this daily “prayer”. He even asked to come to my house!!!
Maybe he thought I was Thai and very religious. He was heavy on the prayers, temple, etc. Crazy.
I’m sure he’s out and about lurking the Suhkumvit area. Watch out!
I’m planning to buy the new Honda Forza 350 and wanted to ask you all if you have any recommendations for Honda Dealerships that speak English. I’ve contacted a bunch of them from Honda website but they didn’t speak English. I can understand Thai but I can’t speak fluently to ask technical questions. Thank you in advance!
