Me complaining just about her phone at 12:30 at night. Mind you, she also does garden work and phone calls as well well after 11pm. I haven't been sleeping for months. Sorry for being shirtless lol
So I have had my outdoor lights set up for weeks now, which are not nailed or hammered to anyone’s side and don’t flash, nothing crazy. They are small, cute, warm lights that surround my balcony (one set wraps around MY railing and the other set is hooked up to MY side with command hooks). Come to find not my next door neighbour, BUT THE ONE ABOVE THEM took pictures of them and sent them to management telling them they had an issue with them…
Like lmao, I didn’t know lights could trigger someone to have to complain 😂
SIDE NOTE: I have lived in many condos before and never had an issue with them, so not sure the issue here and other units in the condo also have lights set up. Will be taking it up with management so idc.
I purchased our house 2 years ago. When we bought it we knew the house behind us was an eyesore, but we never considered that they may be a host to pests.
Fast forward a year and we started getting dead small oriental cockroaches in the basement. Spoke with an exterminator who sprays our house every 6 months for bugs/spiders (we have dogs) and he said they were dying because we keep our house too cool for them to survive, and they are most likely coming from a neighboring houses pipes, as they aren’t breeding here.
Fast forward another year, and Now there are mice at the fence line.
Behind the fence? My neighbors lawn is uncut weeds, junk (like literal mattresses, road signs, etc).
I know that if I approach these people it will come off as accusatory and will most likely escalate, they aren’t exactly the calmest (we’ve heard them yell and fight at each other plenty, and I suspect they do heavier drugs. In the summer, they spend more time in their camper than the house, and currently they have a pallet as an indoor locking mechanism for their sliding glass door)
What are my options? I don’t want to start a rivalry with an unpredictable neighbor. I don’t live in an HOA, and code enforcement seems like my best bet?
