Day 1, Gargoyle. Back for Brave's Inktober, which I'll rename to $BATober! (more info in the comments)
I'm Guilherme Pantoja, some of you might know me for the live drawings on the community call.
In October of last year exactly 1 year ago, I did the inktober challenge under the theme of $BAT and Brave, where for the entire duration of the month of October I made a daily drawing relating to Brave and $BAT somehow. Since last year was very well received and most of you were incredibly kind and supportive, I thought it would be a fun challenge to recreate it this year!
You can expect daily drawings relating to our beloved $BAT and Brave that I'll be posting here, on twitter, instagram and /biz whenever there's a $BAT thread going. I'll try my best to stay consistent with posting time, this should be 17h UTC/GMT +1, I'll update everyone if it changes!
Some of the drawings might be a bit more abstract or metaphoric when compared to the prompt given, since some of these prompts can be very challenging appealing to a greater creative input. If you don't understand or just want to learn more about the piece, feel free to ask, I always love talking further about more technical things or just the creative process behind it!
I also would like to encourage any and all of you to start this challenge and draw with me as many of you have told me you'd like to draw but don't know where to start or can't find the time. This is a great opportunity as the goal of this challenge is creating good habits and develop drawing skills, I can already see a difference in the way I used to draw the past year and the way I'm drawing now!
As an experiment I tried my own creator channels, but if I click the triangle button to tip when I have my own Reddit page or YouTube channel page open, it shows tip to Reddit/YouTube.
As in the website, not the specific user. How to fix this?
This is just a pie in the sky hypothetical but what if there was a way to send BAT tips to strangers in real life using AR tech, in browser?
For example, I see someone performing in a park. I don't have cash and they don't have any signs up for their cashapp/Venmo/PayPal etc. Would it be possible to build a system where I could point my AR camera at them (my browser and wallet links to the camera) and "swipe" a tip towards that person? Similar to throwing a PokeBall in Pokemon Go. No interaction with them, no sign ups, no exchange of any information.
Believed in this project so much, can't believe that it is still buggy. I have rewards bugs on all my devices. Earnings just keep on rolling over. My laptop is showing earnings for this month which is 1.1, 0.7 on my phone. Obviously, this cannot be from this month as it's only the 1. All my devices are updated and so on.
This problem is present since the beginning of 2022. Still not solved. What are you doing? Preached Brave and BAT from the beginning, got a lot of my friends on board. I am disappointed and of course nobody cares but I want to share with this.
This kind of bugs undermine support, trust, and bring on feelings of amateurism, suspicion of stealing from users and are perfect way to lose users.
I don't care about my earned BATs I always just tip it away and not withdraw it.
